Moldova Youth Forum to be held in Balti

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- The third edition of Moldova Youth Forum will be organized at the weekend in Balti. Over 300 participants are expected to attend the event, 30 of them from abroad. The Forum offers young people a platform to build connections and influence national policies, thus contributing to the prosperous future of society.

The event will take place at Vasile Alecsandri National Theater in Balti. 

Among the personalities who will be delivering messages at the event are Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola (online address), EU Ambassador to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks, MEP Siegfried Mureșan.

According to the organizers, the event will focus on panel discussions as well as workshops with practical application, which will encourage participants to contribute to the formulation of public policy proposals aimed at addressing social challenges.

Several topics will be discussed at the Forum, including digital innovation, sustainable development, inclusion, mental health, education, entrepreneurship, European integration, promoting youth advocacy.

It is organized by the International Republican Institute (IRI) with the financial support of USAID, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the NATO Liaison Office, the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the EU Delegation to Moldova, Hanns Seidel Foundation and other partners.
