Chisinau, July 8 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today asked the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) to organize anti-heating points where citizens will be able to get help on the heat wave announced by meteorologists.
"I ask the Interior Ministry that the IGSU organize special places in the context of the heat wave. Let us take care to provide water and intervene urgently in case of need. I encourage citizens, in hot weather, to take more care with their clothing and to drink enough water. Likewise, to be attentive to what is happening in the streets and in case of need - to help people", said Dorin Recean at the beginning of today's cabinet meeting.
The request comes after the State Hydrometeorological Service announced a yellow code of heatwave valid until July 12. Thus, in the next few days, the maximum air temperature will reach 36 degrees and more, meteorologists warn.
