New flight to Athens to open on 12 September

Chisinau, July 10 /MOLDPRES/- Starting 12 September, a new flight to Athens, Greece will be opened. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement at the beginning of the cabinet meeting.

"From September 12 we will have another flight to Athens, both for our citizens who want to travel to this destination and for diaspora. We will continue to open more and more flights from Chisinau International Airport. We see an interest and a positive attitude of the friendly EU member countries and we will continue this effort", Recean said.

Currently, Chisinau International Airport operates two flights a week to Athens on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Recently, the number of companies operating flights from Chisinau International Airport has increased, expanding the list of destinations.
