Public Service Agency launches pilot project to issue electronic signatures in multifunctional centers

Chisinau, July 15 /MOLDPRES/- Public Service Agency (ASP) announced today the launch of a new service in the multifunctional centers - issuance of qualified electronic signature on USB-token (ePass 2003 device).

In pilot mode (July 15 - August 28, 2024), the service will be provided only to private people in two multifunctional centers in Chisinau: CM No. 3 and CM No. 4. "Later, it is to be extended to all multifunctional centers in the country.

With a qualified electronic signature, citizens can sign electronic documents, which have the same legal value as a handwritten signature. At the same time, the qualified electronic signature provides the possibility to remotely access digital services from various information systems", explains ASP.

The project is carried out in collaboration with the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC).
