Moldova, Romania sign Memorandum of understanding on activity of government's representatives in territory

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Chancellery of Moldova and the Interior Ministry of Romania will exchange experience and knowledge, will organize sessions of training and practice, as well as joint events in sectors of cooperation.
This will be possible after Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija and Romania’s Ambassador to Moldova Cristian-Leon Turcanu signed a memorandum of understanding between the Interior Ministry of Romania and the State Chancellery of Moldova in the field of activity of the institute of the government’s representative in the territory.
„The official ceremony for the signing of the Memorandum of understanding between the Interior Ministry of Romania and the State Chancellery of Moldova in the field of activity of the institution of the government’s representative in the territory took place at the Moldovan government’s headquarters today. I was honoured to sign this important document, along with Secretary General of the Moldovan Government Artur Mija. Through the signing of the Memorandum, new perspectives of cooperation between the two banks of Prut were created, on a day of special significance for both countries,’’ Ambassador of Romanian to Moldova Cristian-Leon Turcanu wrote.
According to the State Chancellery, the document creates new perspectives of cooperation between the two sides in the consolidation of the administrative capacity and the management of the work of the government’s representatives.
