Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - The works continue on the Vulcanesti bypass road, where roadmen put the road cloth of asphalt concrete, work to consolidate the footways and the system of evacuation of rain waters.

„The belt road will change the direction of the heavy transit traffic from the city and thus the Vulcanesti residents will no longer have to bear the noise made by the high-tonnage vehicles and the air’s pollution in the city will reduce. The road will shorten also the route to the port of ships from Giurgiulesti for carriers. The physical progress of the works on those 8.58 km is of 30 per cent. There are 45 roadmen on the construction site, who build a good, European road. We move forward, we edify the European Moldova together,’’ Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu said.

The new MR 3 road, remodeled against the previous concept, will cross only five small settlements from Chisinau to Giurgiulesti and will bypass all the others and the bypassing of the Vulcanesti city is crucial.
