Moldovan citizens can get scholarship to study in UK

Chisinau, Aug 6 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens can get a Chevening scholarship to study in the UK. The scholarship provides full financial support for students to pursue any eligible master's degrees at over 150 universities in the UK. Applications can be submitted by 5 November 2024 online at www.chevening.org/apply.

The scholarships will benefit individuals who can demonstrate that they have the commitment and skills to become future leaders and can justify how a master's degree earned in the UK will help them bring positive change to their country. Thus, a prerequisite of the program is that students return to their home country for a minimum of two years after completing their studies to make a positive change at home.

In addition to the study program, scholars will gain access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional and cultural experiences.

I am continually inspired by the passion and commitment of those in the Chevening community and look forward to meeting the next generation of leaders," head of scholarships at the FCDO Emma Hennessey said.

The program was launched in 1983 and since then more than 57,000 professionals from around the world and more than 100 from the Republic of Moldova have had the opportunity to take their careers to the next level through Chevening. This year, the program offers over 1,500 scholarships. In Moldova, the program is coordinated by the British Embassy in Chisinau.
