Condrița presidential residence to host Forest Festival in September

Chisinau, Aug. 12 /MOLDPRES/- On 14 September, Forest Festival, a celebration of nature and traditions will take place at the presidential residence in Condrita. The event will include exhibitions, interactive workshops, debates with environmental experts, live concerts and many activities for all ages.

The festival is part of the National Afforestation Program, launched under the aegis of President Maia Sandu, and is dedicated to efforts to reforest 150,000 hectares over the next 10 years. Participation is free, and those interested can contribute to the purchase of seedlings for planting.

The event is organized by the Association of Environmental Journalists/Ecopresa and the Ecological Society Biotica, with the support of Sweden, in partnership with the Office of the President of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Environment.
