Chisinau, Aug 18 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu participated on 17 August in See you at home festival, which brought together about 600 Moldovans from diaspora.
The speaker answered citizens' questions during the panel discussion "European Moldova - how to help our country?" and appreciated the readiness of Moldovans from the diaspora to support Moldova's European integration.
"We met again at home with our Moldovans settled in all corners of the world and who, year after year, in August are back home. They are our Moldovans who have come home on vacation to see their parents, children, relatives, as well as their native places. They are our Moldovans with whom I am proud every time I visit abroad, but also whom I meet in our villages, creating businesses.I am convinced that we have an active, involved diaspora, which cares about our path and wants to contribute to a European Moldova. Welcome home!", said Grosu.
During the festival, Moldovan Diaspora had the opportunity to talk to President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
Festival participants learned more about the programs and opportunities available for Moldovans living abroad, including access to digital services. For Moldovan diaspora, a fair of local craftsmen and producers was organized.
The festival is organized by the Diaspora Relations Office under the patronage of the government of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the United Nations Development Programme and the International Organization for Migration.
