Moldovan president says law-enforcement institutions of Moldova become stronger

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu and Interior Minister Adrian Efros today discussed issues of public security and order, the presidential press service has reported.
„The law-enforcement institutions of our country become stronger. They managed to ensure the constitutional order and the citizens’ safety during the most difficult moments in the last years. Also, Moldova gives a helping hand, along with other European states, to the maintaining of a Europe of solidarity, where the countries help each other and prevent or liquidate together the consequences of the natural disasters and contribute to people’s security,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
The head of state stressed the importance of continuing the efforts of consolidating the institutions, so that they act even more efficiently in the interest of the citizens, by strictly observing the law and become resilient before any challenges to the national security.
„I discussed with Minister Efros the enhancement of the professionalism of the Interior Ministry’s employees, the country’s contribution to the regional peace and security and the importance to take care at home, in Moldova, about the public security and order,’’ President Maia Sandu added.
