Prime Minister invites citizens to participate in events dedicated to Independence Day

Chisinau, Aug 21 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today invited citizens to participate in the events organized in the center of the capital on Independence Day. The official noted that on August 26, 27 and 28, "we will celebrate together peace, prosperity and our national unity".
"I want to invitate everyone for August 26, 27 and 28 in the Great National Assembly Square. We will all celebrate the Independence Day, there will be a lot of spectacle, there will be a lot of energy and we invite everyone to participate. Together we will celebrate peace, prosperity and our national unity. It is a day that should help us strengthen society with a very clear goal - to build prosperity here at home," Recean said at the beginning of today's cabinet meeting.
Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, marked on 27 August, will be celebrated this year with an exceptional cultural program on 26, 27 and 28 August.
On all three days, concerts will start at 19:00.
On August 27, the Republic of Moldova will mark 33 years since independence.
