Moldovan president tested positive for COVID-19

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today informed that that she had been tested positive for COVID-19 and would stay insolated for several days.
The head of state noted that she felt good, but would not be able to take part in the public events on these days.
The health department of the Chisinau city hall also informed that the number of COVID-19 cases had grown by over 40 per cent in the last week. Eighty seven people are hospitalized in Chisinau, of whom seven in serious condition.
