Moldovan PM attends event on closing of joint programme of probations of government, European Union's Delegation

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today congratulated those 64 young people involved in the joint programme of probations of the government and the European Union’s Delegation, on the occasion of the end of the probation period. Attending the finishing event were also EU’s Ambassador to Moldova Janis Mažeiks and Secretary General of the Government Artur Mija, the government’s communication department has reported.
The PM urged the young people to be part of all changes for the better which occur in Moldova. ‘’ I have a feeling that we have finally mobilized and I want to ask you to be part of this effort. The things start changing, being organized here, at home,’’ Dorin Recean said.
Thus, the prime minister encouraged them to be employed in the state institutions, in order to be able to directly contribute to the country’s development and to participate in the European integration process. ‘’Your knowledge and skills are quite important and valuable, in order to be able to edify the future here, at home,’’ the PM added.
The joint programme of probations of the government and the European Union’s Delegation in Chisinau is at its third edition. The probationers benefited from monthly scholarships and were guided by EU High-Ranking Advisers, who shared their experience concerning the European integration.
At the same time, starting from 1 July will next September, another 46 young people are on probations within the programme of paid probations in public service, financed by the government. The probations are held at the Apparatus of the President, Parliament’s Secretariat, State Chancellery, ministries and other public authorities.
The probationers benefit from a non-taxable monthly scholarship of 3,000 lei. Following the carrying out of the probation with a duration of 480 hours and the getting of the ‘’very good’’ mark, they can be employed without contest or placed in the reserve corps of probationers, for a period of 12 months after the issuance of the probation certificate.
