Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/ - One year following the starting of the works on the construction of the M3 road, Chisinau-Comrat-Giurgiulesti-border with Romania, km 0-8.58, the project reached a physical progress of 40 per cent, overfulfilling the plan set by 15 per cent.
At this stage, 5 km of road were constructed and asphalted from the scratch, which accounts for 60 per cent of the segment’s total length.
In September this year, a new segment of 1.5-2 km is to be asphalted, thus maintaining the constant pace of the works.
Significant progress is also recorded in the construction of the bridge placed at the km 2+965, which reached a level of implementation of 50 per cent, as well as the project on the over-crossing from the km 4+900, which reached 70 per cent of implementation.
„The efficient organization of the construction site, the rigorous planning and the correct management of the resources and procurements are the catalysts of these outstanding results,’’ the State Administration of Roads said.
The overall value of the project on the bypassing of the Vulcanesti town is of 21.2 million euros, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the term for finishing the works is February 2026.
