Hungarian diplomacy head to pay working visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó will pay a working visit to Moldova on 6 September, at an invitation by Deputy PM, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi.
The visit will start with a meeting with the host of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi.
At 10:00, Ministers Mihai Popsoi and Péter Szijjártó will make press statements at the headquarters of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Péter Szijjártó will also have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Deputy Prime Minister, Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba.
Moldova and Hungary established diplomatic relations on 16 January 1992. The volume of foreign trade between the two countries in 2022 registered the sum of 232 million dollars. Forty four companies with Hungarian capital work in Moldova and the volume of investments in the registered share capital amounts to about 20.939 million lei.
