Moldovan Constitutional Court validates MP mandate

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Constitutional Court (CC) today validated the mandate of a Moldova’s lawmaker.
CC considered a proposal by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to validate the mandate of an alternate candidate on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Nicolae Plamadeala.
Following deliberations, the Constitutional Court accepted CEC’s request and validated the mandate of the alternate candidate.
The vacancy of the MP mandate appeared, following the submission of the application on resignation by lawmaker Mariana Lucreteanu from the list of PAS.
