Moldovan president signs Decree on opening of Moldova's Embassy in Kazakhstan

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will soon have a diplomatic mission in Astana. In this respect, President Maia Sandu today signed the Decree on the approval of the setting up of Moldova’s Embassy in Kazakhstan – an essential step for extending the country’s presence in the Central Asia, the presidential press service has reported.
Kazakhstan represents an important sales market and a complex provider of raw materials and energy resources, as well as a valuable economic partner for Moldova. Through this new embassy, the Moldovan authorities are set to consolidate the bilateral relations, to open new economic opportunities and boost the political dialogue with the countries of the region/
The decree will enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal.
