Moldovan PM discussed with Sărata Veche residents

Chisinau, Sep 20 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean discussed yesterday evening with citizens of Sărata Veche village, Fălești district. He spoke to the people about the measures taken by the government in various areas, which have a direct impact on their quality of life: education, health, agriculture and infrastructure, the government's communication department has reported.
The prime minister also emphasized that integration into the European Union and the pre-accession process will offer multiple additional opportunities for the development of localities. "I see here in Sărata Veche a community that is involved and cares about the future of our country. We must be a team, only together we will be able to build Europe here, at home, in every village and town, for the well-being of every citizen of the Republic of Moldova," said Recean.
The inhabitants also told about the problems they face and the things that concern them most. These include the lack of jobs, increasing the community's own income, pension levels, agricultural development and access to better healthcare.
Sărata Veche is one of the largest municipalities in Fălești district. Sărata Veche also includes the villages of Sărata Noua and Hitrești, and has a population of about 4,300 inhabitants. A drinking water supply system was built in Hitrești under the first edition of the European Village program.
