Moldovan students can participate in U.S.- organized FLEX program

Chisinau, Sep 20 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan students can participate in the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX), funded by the U.S. Department of State. The FLEX scholarship offers selected students the opportunity to live with an American host family and study in a U.S. school during the 2025-2026 academic year.
The competition is open to 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who meet several conditions, including study in our country, hold Moldovan citizenship, were born between January 1, 2008 - July 15, 2010, are studying English, meet the requirements for receiving a U.S. visa, have not spent more than three months of the last five years in the U.S.
Students with disabilities born between February 15, 2008 and July 15, 2010 are also invited to participate, with special testing arrangements.
The FLEX program, now in its 31st year, is a U.S. government-sponsored program for high school students from Europe and Eurasia. It provides scholarship funding for students to travel to the United States, attend a U.S. high school for a full academic year, and live with a U.S. host family.
