GOVERNMENT BUILDS // District in Drochia upgraded with state funding

Chisinau, 27 Sep /MOLDPRES/- Rehabilitation of the old district of Drochia is being completed. The works are being carried out under a project implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) and financed from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.

"Currently, trees and decorative plants are being planted on the construction site, these are also the last planned works," according to ADR North.

The final beneficiaries of the urban infrastructure upgraded under the project are about 4,500 inhabitants of Drochia living in Valea Curechiului area, as well as all the residents of the city.

The total value of the project Raising the standard of living in Valea Curechiului area of Drochia is 9.6 million lei (480 thousand euros), of which 8.6 million lei - allocated from the FNDRL and the rest - local contribution.
