Moldovan foreign affairs ministry announces addresses of polling stations due to be opened abroad at ballot due on 20 October

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) today published the list and the addresses of the polling stations due to be opened for the republican constitutional referendum and the presidential elections, due on 20 October 2024.   

Under the document, in Russia, Moldovans will be able to vote at two polling stations, both placed in Moscow. As for the Moldovan voters living in China, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Azerbaidjan, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Qatar and Hungary, one polling station will be opened in each of these countries.    

The Moldovans from the USA will be able to exercise their right to vote at 17 polling stations; seven polling stations will be opened for the Moldovans living in Canada. The citizens of Moldova who live in Germany will be able to express their option at 26 polling stations and 18 polling stations will be opened for the Moldovans from France.  

Most polling stations, 60, will be opened in Italy and another 17 ones – in England. Sixteen polling stations will be opened in Romania.

According to the authorities, 228 polling stations in all will be opened in 37 countries for the republican constitutional referendum and the presidential elections, due on 20 October 2024.
