Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - The two young people who have been detained for the vandalizing of state’s institutions today were placed under arrest for 20 days each. The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) made statements to this effect.

The young people, with ages of 20 and 21 years, were detained after on 27 September they would have vandalized two state’s institutions. It is about the building of the Labour and Social and Protection Ministry, as well as the government building.

The suspects threw paint to the institutions’ buildings.  The people would have received 5,000 euros for vandalizing the government building alone. Following the carrying out of the vandalism actions, the video clip with their actions was to be placed on Telegram as proof of the mission’s fulfillment.

The two suspects would have been trained in Moscow. According to IGP, the actions’ goal was the destabilization. Large sums of money were paid for the carrying out of these actions.

The people detained said they were members of a group of 20 people, lured to vandalize state’s institutions from Moldova. One of the suspects said that he had also been in charge of luring young people for the subsequent training in Moscow. The actions needed to be carried out in Moldova were to be communicated there; they were paid with 500 euros each monthly.

Also, last night, another two state institutions were vandalized, by throwing paint to their buildings. It is about the headquarters of the Teleradio-Moldova public company and the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

The Police investigate the cases, in order to identify the people who committed these acts and their relations with the people trained in Moscow, so as to make destabilizations in Moldova.
