Tudor Ulianovschi starts electoral campaign for Moldovan president's position

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - A candidate for the presidential elections, nominated by a group of citizens, Tudor Ulianovschi, today started his electoral campaign. The candidate for the Moldovan president’s office unveiled more goals for the country’s development, with the priority being Moldova’s integration into the European Union.    

More supporters of the candidate attended the event on the launch in the electoral campaign. The action started with a video film on the childhood, family and achievements of Tudor Ulianovschi. The candidate’s slogan at this ballot is, The normal Moldova is you.

In his speech, Tudor Ulianovschi referred to the present situation in Moldova, as well as the priorities for the future. ‘’The country needs a change. All of us want a normal Moldova. I take the firm commitment to bring Moldova to the way of normality, prosperity and dignity. I have the ambition and determination to contribute to the modernization, industrialization and Europeanization of Moldova,’’ Tudor Ulianovschi said.    

Among the priorities announced by the candidate, there are: the increase in salaries for teachers and physicians, carrying out of the reforms in the university education, development of a national programme on providing the citizens with medicines, opening of sports performance academies, facilitating businesses.   

Tudor Ulianovschi is 41 years old. He is a Moldovan diplomat, former foreign affairs and European integration minister in the government of Pavel Filip.   

The electoral campaign for the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum, due on 20 October 2024, is carried out in Moldova. Eleven candidates will compete for the office of head of state in all.
