Citizens to be able to apply online for Moldovan state border crossing document

Chisinau, Sep 30 /MOLDPRES/- Citizens will be able to apply for and obtain online the document on crossing the state border of the Republic of Moldova. The new electronic service has been developed by the Electronic Governance Agency in collaboration with the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF).

The IGPF said that the implementation of the new electronic service ensures that the requested document is obtained quickly and significantly reduces the waiting time, thus contributing to facilitating access to public services.

The extract from the integrated information system of the Border Police regarding the crossing of the state border can be requested by both private people and legal entities, with or without digital authentication.

In order to apply for the extract, citizens must access https://servicii.gov.md.

The process of issuing the extract from the integrated information system of the Border Police was digitalized under the project Modernization of Government Services, implemented by AGE with the financial support of the World Bank Group.

The statistics show that in the first six months of this year, more than 2,200 applications for crossing the state border by individuals and means of transportation were examined.
