Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has participated in an event on the launch of the Barometer of entrepreneurs who edify Moldova’s future. The Barometer contains the findings of an opinion poll conducted during 22 July – 21 August 2024, in which over 1,000 entrepreneurs participated. The business people expressed opinion on the country’s economic perspectives, the quality of public services and the process of accession to the European Union, the government’s communication department reported.

In his speech, the PM reiterated the authorities’ support for the business environment and the importance of the entrepreneurship in the country’s development, noting that the Barometer appeared in an important moment for Moldova. The country is consolidating its international reputation before investors and the government provides the conditions necessary for those who increase their businesses.

„The government will continue backing the entrepreneurship, to encourage the innovation, reduce the bureaucracy and facilitate the access to financing for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). And the barometer’s data will help us adjust the economic policies for the development of a more competitive ecosystem for businesses,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.

According to the PM, the entrepreneurs not only create jobs, but also model the future of the Moldovan economy: ‘’Each new business, each innovation is a step forward towards a modern Moldova, connected to the global economy. Together, we edify a strong and sustainable business ecosystem, which is to ensure the well-being for everybody. ’’
