Digital registration of rights in real property register by notaries available nationwide

Chisinau, Oct. 1 /MOLDPRES/- The service of registration of rights in the real property register of the Republic of Moldova by notaries is available online throughout the country as of today. In May 2024, the service was launched on a pilot basis in Chisinau, Orhei and Criuleni, and today it is being extended nationwide.

Thus, the registration procedure has become much simpler. To benefit from this service, the notary submits the application online on the Electronic Services Development Platform (PDSE), on behalf of the right holder. The prerequisite is that the real estate has previously been subject to state registration, as well as the absence of prohibitions, encumbrances on the property or other circumstances preventing the execution of this registration.

Upon registration of the holder's right in the real estate register, both the notary and the holder of the right will instantly receive in the MCabinet virtual office the confirmation of the registration, represented by the digital document - Certificate on entries in the real estate register.

The service was developed under the Modernization of Government Services project, implemented by the Electronic Governance Agency with the support of the World Bank Group.
