Wharf-type customs post from Molovata ceases work in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Molovata wharf-type customs post has ceased working because of the strong wind. The Border Police today made statements to this effect.
In these conditions, travelers are urged to opt for the Criuleni 18 internal control customs checkpoint, which is at a distance of about 32 km.
The Border Police said that the other customs posts worked as normal.
A Yellow Code of wind gustings is valid in Moldova. The warning was issued for the period 29 September, 13:00 - 1 October, 18:00. Thus, in this time interval, the north-western wind is expected to have gustings of up to 15-20metres/second, with 21-23 metres/second in places.
In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena are usual for the country’s territory, but can temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
