Moldova condemned Iran's rocket attack on Israel

Chisinau, Oct. 2 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova condemned Iran's rocket attack on Israel on the evening of Tuesday, October 1. "We strongly condemn any form of violence," Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi said today.
"We are shaken by the appalling terrorist attack that took the lives of innocent Israelis in Yaffo. We strongly condemn all forms of violence. We wish those injured a speedy recovery. We also condemn the recent Iranian rocket attack on Israel. Israel has the right to self-defense," said Popșoi.
On Tuesday evening, October 1, Iran fired over 100 rockets at Israel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs a week ago urged Moldovan citizens who are in the Republic of Lebanon and the State of Israel to be vigilant in the context of the destabilization of the security situation in the Middle East region and to avoid traveling to these areas.
The institution also urged citizens to follow the instructions of military and civilian authorities; to limit traveling; not to leave their homes, in case of shooting, to take refuge in special shelters.
