Environment Ministry: New fake letter spreads in public space

Chisinau, Oct. 2 /MOLDPRES/- The Environment Ministry today denied the information recently spread in the public space about an "order" received by the country's city halls and several NGOs via e-mail on the construction of waste incineration plants in several districts.

"In connection with the information that recently appeared in the public space about an "order" received by the country's city halls and several NGOs by e-mail regarding the construction of waste incineration plants in several districts, the Environment Ministry informs that they are FAKE," the institution said.

The ministry has notified the relevant bodies "to investigate the source of this fake information and to take necessary measures against those who disseminate it."

"We urge you to always check the sources of information and to consult the official communication channels of the Ministry of the Environment in order to obtain accurate and updated data on our activities and initiatives," the source warns.

The country's leading environmental authority assured that it will continue to inform the public transparently and fairly about all its projects.
