Moldovan government approves Package VI on reducing bureaucracy

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a new package of reducing the bureaucracy for the business environment. The authorities estimate that the new rules will bring overall savings of about 44 million lei per year for the entrepreneurs of Moldova. These resources will be able to be invested in developing businesses.
The project’s goal is to diminish the costs of economic agents in the entrepreneurial activity through excluding the administrative obstacles, unjustified or obsolete requirements, including through adopting good European practices in the economic sector.
„We adapted the rules for the control of quality in constructions to the principles of the law on state control, in order to remove the abuses and disproportionate interventions. We updated the employees’ protection rules, which will reduce the risks for workers. We gave possibility for the public procurements to be able to be carried out also through commodity exchanges. Transparently, competitively, quickly, cheaply. We simplified the procedures of reporting as regards the state and use of mineral raw materials by the Geology and Mineral Resources Agency, eliminating the useless requirements of preliminary coordination.’’ Deputy PM Dumitru Alaiba said.
The authorities have earlier approved several packages of reducing the bureaucracy for the business environment, which generated savings and the simplification of the activity rules for economic agents.
