PM visits kindergarten from north Moldova settlement

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today paid a visit to the Andries kindergarten from the Corbu village, northern Donduseni district. It was renovated through the European Village programme, the government’s communication department has reported.
The institution is energy efficient, endowed with modern equipment and has safe and comfortable spaces for children. Also, the building has also a new roof. Also, the building has also a new roof. The overall value of the project amounted to about four million lei.
With the institution’s modernization, its leadership is set to attract parents and children from neighbouring settlements.
„It is essential that we take care of the education of our children and this kindergarten, with all its modern facilities, is proof that we can edify a better future for the next generations,’’ the prime minister said.
Fifteen projects with a total value of over 50 million lei have been carried out in the Donduseni district through the European Village and Express European Village programmes. Also, another 16 projects are to be carried out at this year edition of the European Village governmental programme, including the health centre from the Corbu commune.
At the visit, the PM attended a concert dedicated to the Teachers’ Day, during which he conveyed a congratulatory and appreciation message to the teachers from Donduseni.
