The PAS candidate noted that, in recent years, 57 road bridges have been built or renovated, including Leova-Bumbăta bridge - the first built over the Prut since independence.
"Today I visited the construction site of the bridge over the Bîc river and the passage over the railway, on the M1 national road, where the works are to be completed in a few months. The project, worth 187 million lei from the Road Fund, is a strategic one for the country's infrastructure and, in particular, for this industrial area near the capital. In recent years, we have built or renovated 57 road bridges, including Leova-Bumbăta bridge - the first built over the Prut since independence, and the construction of the cross-border bridge Cosăuți - Yampil, Ukraine will also begin in the near future", said Maia Sandu.
"We have a very clear plan - Moldova to be connected to the European infrastructure, and throughout the country to have national and regional roads like in the European Union. Thus, in the next 4 years, we will complete the construction of four road bridges over the Prut: Ungheni-Ungheni, Costești-Stânca, Leca-Fălciu, Bărboieni-Răducăneni and we will rehabilitate 3,000 km of national and regional roads", said Maia Sandu.
Also, the PAS candidate visited the Health Center in Criuleni.
The PAS candidate mentioned that currently, the construction of a modern health system is a priority, and an objective of the Plan for Moldova is the repair of all polyclinics in the country.
"We invested 3 billion lei in renovating and equipping hospitals and bought 206 ambulances in just 3 years. In the last year alone, the ministry invested about 400 million lei in district hospitals. An objective of the Plan for Moldova is to repair all polyclinics in the country. We want to have a healthy society and we must continue these unprecedented efforts to improve the health system", Maia Sandu said.
The PAS candidate met with residents of Macărești, Ungheni. Maia Sandu also spoke about the aqueduct that comes from Romania and brings drinking water to the towns in the region.
"Industrious and benevolent people I met in Macărești, Ungheni, on the banks of the Prut. Măcărești is a beautiful example that shows how many things we do together for people - the aqueduct that comes from Romania and brings drinking water to Măcărești, but also to 12 other villages in the Nisporeni and Ungheni districts. The 95% completed project cost over 65 million lei from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. Almost 30 kilometers of main aqueduct, almost 25 km of internal networks in Boldurești and Chilișoaia localities, 4 pumping stations, 10 castles and 6 water tanks were built", said Maia Sandu.
Also, the PAS candidate reiterated how important the citizens' vote is for maintaining peace and democracy in the Republic of Moldova.
"Aqueducts, modern kindergartens and schools, European hospitals - all this is possible only if we maintain peace and democracy at home. And this is in our hands, in the hands of all Moldovans. Let's be aware of the value of our vote", said Maia Sandu.
Maia Sandu is running for the second term as president of the Republic of Moldova, being nominated and supported by PAS.
