Chisinau, Oct 5 /MOLDPRES/- International Day of Education is marked on 5 October. On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Research has sent a congratulatory message to employees in the education sphere. "It is one more occasion to express our gratitude for your dedication to work in a field that is not easy and very demanding, but which is so necessary for the whole society," the MEC's message reads.
International Day of Education has been marked every year on 5 October since 1994. Education transforms lives and is at the heart of UNESCO's mission to build peace, eradicate poverty and foster sustainable development, according to en.unesco.org.
