Moldova's foreign ministry outlined steps for postal voting

Chisinau, Oct. 7 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) has presented the steps for postal voting for the 20 October elections.
According to the MAE, it is important that the envelopes with the voting materials are properly sealed and bear the security label. The person is to check only one option in each of the two ballot papers. The envelope will also contain the voter's declaration of abstaining from multiple voting and maintaining the secrecy of the ballot.
Head of the Central Electoral Commission's communication, public relations and media department Rodica Sîrbu said that the institution has printed 1,809 ballot papers for those who have requested to exercise their right to vote by mail.
In this fall's elections, postal voting will be implemented in six countries: the USA, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland.
