Families of employees of Moldovan diplomatic missions in Netherlands to be able to work

Chisinau, Oct 9 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of the Netherlands could conclude an agreement allowing family members of employees of diplomatic missions or consular offices to work. A draft has been approved by the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee.
The document would cover spouses and children of diplomatic, administrative and technical staff of diplomatic missions and consular offices. This would allow them to take up employment and pay fees provided for by the law.
The provisions of the agreement will be similar for Moldovan diplomats and citizens of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The Republic of Moldova has concluded similar agreements with ten countries, including the United States of America, the Republic of Poland, the Portuguese Republic, the French Republic, Canada, Romania and the Kingdom of Belgium. Other agreements in the same field are currently being negotiated with the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of India and the Kingdom of Spain.
