Candidate of Action and Solidarity Party for Moldovan president's office has meetings with residents of Hancesti, Cimislia

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president’s office, Maia Sandu, on 12 October met residents of the Mingir commune, central Hancesti district and residents of the Gradiste commune, southern Cimislia district. She urged the residents to participate in the 20 October ballot and ask for two ballot papers. ‘’We should not stop at half way – we should continue the country’s development!’’.
„I know that, on 20 October, we have no right to make mistakes; this is our chance to be a strong and developed country. On 20 October, we should ask for two ballot papers! We should continue edifying the country!’’ Maia Sandu said.
She said that, in the last years, the Sofia-Carpineni-Mingir road had been repaired and more crèche groups were opened at the kindergarten from the commune. Also, new networks of supply with water and sewerage were constructed. The Community Centre was modernized and the bed of the Lapusna river is in the process of cleaning and deepening. ‘’All these achievements, including those 29 projects carried out through the European Village programme in all the Hancesti district, show that we are on the right way,’’ Maia Sandu said.
In the Gradiste commune, Maia Sandu discussed with citizens the projects carried out in the settlement and the priorities for the next years. ‘’I was happy to meet optimistic people, firm in the decision to bring the European Union home. I invited them to vote and asked them to tell to the relatives, friends, neighbours to ask for 2 ballot papers on 20 October,’’ Sandu added.
The PAS candidate also said that 28 projects had been implemented in the Cimislia district through the European Village programme; the Porumbeni-Cimislia road was built from the scratch; five schools and kindergartens were renovated, 41 km of roads from the district was repaired after 30 years of blockage; the bridge at Sagaidacul Nou started being rehabilitated.
On 20 October, presidential elections and a constitutional referendum for Moldova’s accession to the European Union will be held in Moldova. Eleven candidates registered for the race for the Moldovan president’s position. The electoral campaign will end on 18 October.
