Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today paid a visit to the Falesti district. The PM discussed with people from the settlements visited and assured them that the authorities would continue developing the country. ‘’We edify Europe here, at home. The prime minister noted that he had discussed with local residents the projects carried out.

„I talked with sellers and local residents about how we edify Europe here, at home, about the things we promised and which we fulfilled:  we financed the works of finishing the Prut-Falesti aqueduct system – a project much expected by the Falesti district residents; we doubled the minimal pension and increased twice the average pension; we invested almost three billion lei in projects on development and modernization of republican, municipal and district hospitals; we constructed 700 km of national roads. We increased the child-birth allowance; doubled the minimum salary on the country and increased the salary for the physicians and teachers,’’ Recean said.

The PM specified that the projects on Moldova’s modernization would continue. ‘’We do not stop at half road and continue to implement the plan for Moldova. And on 20 October, we go to vote and elect two important things for our future – Maia Sandu as the country’s president and Moldova’s way to the European Union.’’ Dorin Recean also said.

The Falesti district is placed in north-western Moldova at a distance of 125 km far from the capital and has 76 settlements and 78,258 residents.
