Moldovan president conveys message to all women

Chisinau, Oct 17 /MOLDPRES/- Head of state Maia Sandu addressed a message to all women on Thursday. The official noted that thanks to women "Moldova is better at home and appreciated in the world." She urged women to be active in the 20 October elections so that "Moldova will be safe from dangers, no one will leave home in need, and families will be together".

The head of state thanked all women for the involvement. "I have met countless fantastic women in the last four years. Dear mother, dear grandmother, teacher, baker, sportswoman, engineer, policewoman, Olympic student, dear artist, dear woman. Whatever path you have to choose in life, I am grateful to you because you do your duty with professionalism, dedication and thanks to you Moldova is better at home and appreciated in the world," Maia Sandu said.

The president urged women to participate in the polls and the republican constitutional referendum. "On October 20, we finish the work we started. We vote so that Moldova will be safe from danger, no one will leave home in need, and families will be together. I trust, dear women, that you will be there," said Maia Sandu.

Presidential elections will be held this Sunday, October 20. On the same day, the republican constitutional referendum will take place. Citizens will answer the question "Do you agree with amending  the Constitution for Moldova's accession to the European Union?".
