Moldovan Public Services Agency's multifunctional centres to work according to special schedule on election day

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The multifunctional centres of the Public Services Agency (ASP) will work according to a special schedule on 20 October, when presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum will be held in Moldova. 

On 20 October, the ASP’s multifunctional centres will work starting from 07:00 till 21:00. At the request by Moldova’s citizens with ages over 18 years, provisional identity cards will be issued and manufactured identity cards will be handed.  

In the context of the next Sunday ballot, the citizens of Moldova with right to vote are urged to verify the validity of the identity acts they hold and to undertake actions to change them till the date of the voting, if they are not valid.    

Under the legal provisions, the Moldovan citizens with the residence in Moldova are obliged to hold identity cards starting from the age of 16 years. The first identity card is issued free of charge.
