Irina Vlah: I voted for peaceful and prosperous Moldova

Chișinău, Oct 20 /MOLDPRES/- Presidential candidate Irina Vlah cast her vote today in the presidential elections and the constitutional republican referendum, stating that she voted for a peaceful and neutral Moldova.
Irina Vlah arrived at the polling station accompanied by her daughter.
“I came here in a good mood. I voted for a peaceful, neutral Moldova, for a Moldova where people do not leave, for a Moldova where society lives in harmony and unity. Together, we believe in the future of the Republic of Moldova,” she said.
Today, the Republic of Moldova is holding elections for the position of head of state and a constitutional republican referendum on the country's accession to the European Union.
Voting began at 7:00 AM and will end at 9:00 PM. Citizens are expected at the 2,219 polling stations, of which 1,988 are open in Moldova, including 30 for residents on the left bank of the Dniester River. An additional 231 polling stations are open in 37 countries for diaspora voters.
