Commuting medical workers to receive state compensation

Chisinau, Oct 24 /MOLDPRES/- Health Minister Ala Nemerenco announced that she has signed an order on compensation for transportation expenses of commuting medical and pharmaceutical workers. About 3,000 medical workers would benefit from the compensation.

Nemerenco said that the Health Ministry will allocate the compensations on the basis of the requests submitted by each public medical-sanitary institution for its workers.

"Changes in the legislation were needed, then a separate Government Decision and here we are. Good luck in your work, dear colleagues," the minister said.

According to the relevant authorities, a total of more than 12 million lei will be allocated for the compensation, the money is not allocated additionally, as it is already included in the budget of the Ministry of Health, as well as in the medium-term budgetary framework for 2025-2027.
