Moldovan president condemns terrorist attack near Ankara

Chisinau, Oct 24 /MOLDPRES/- Head of state Maia Sandu published a message strongly condemning the terrorist attack near Ankara, which left more than a dozen people injured and five dead.
Maia Sandu wrote that Moldova stands by Turkey and its leadership.
"Deeply saddened by the tragic terrorist attack in Ankara, which left many dead and many injured. President Erdogan, in these difficult times, Moldova stands with you and the Turkish people. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms," the message reads.
At least five people died and 22 others were injured on Wednesday in a terrorist attack at the Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters near Ankara. Witnesses said they heard gunshots and an explosion.
Turkey's relevant institutions said two terrorists were killed and prosecutors have launched an investigation into the case.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte condemned the attack and said the military alliance would stand by its ally Turkey.
