Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) today warned the tax payers to be vigilant, in the context of fake demands, shipped with the illegal use of the institution’s identity.

„The State Fiscal Service recommends that you are vigilant to any information received from dubious people, in the context of the boosting of swindles in the online environment, with the illegal use of the institution’s identity. The scam manifests itself by the sending of messages to emails of tax payers with the illegal use of the SFS’ identity, with alleged demand to submit certain documents, in the context of additional verifications by the fiscal authority, making reference to a normative act abrogated back in the 2017 years,’’ the quoted source said.

In the context, SFS asks to ignore such messages and the law-enforcement bodies, as well as the State Fiscal Service or other competent institutions should be immediately informed.

„We also ask you to verify any information on the official webpage of the fiscal authority, www.sfs.md, as well as the official pages of the institutions on the social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Telegram). You can call us by phone at the Call Centre of SFS: 0 8000 1525 or any other number indicated on the page of Contacts of the SFS’ website. All information concerning the work of the fiscal authority, the fiscal obligations of tax payers are published exclusively on the official webpage of the fiscal authority, www.sfs.md, as well as the pages on the social networks managed by SFS,’’ the State Fiscal Service added.
