One more person detained following journalistic investigation in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - One more person has been placed under arrest following a journalistic investigation. She is regarded within a criminal file on the illegal financing of political parties.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, on 18 October, two persons were detained following a journalistic investigation. On 19 October, the Chisinau Court, Ciocana headquarters, enforced the preventive measure against the two persons – preventive arrest for a 20-day period.

Subsequently, on 22 October, the third person regarded in the investigation was detected and detained and today the Chisinau Court, Ciocana headquarters, admitted the approach by prosecutors on the enforcement of the preventive measure of 30-day home arrest against the person detained.
