Candidate of Action and Solidarity Party for Moldovan president's office has discussions with Together electoral bloc

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president’s office, Maia Sandu, has had discussions with the Together electoral bloc. Maia Sandu emphasized that ‘’now, it is essential for us to join efforts for the European way, for Moldova.’’
„I discussed with Mr. Ticu, Bujoreanu, Plingau, Gligor. I heard their demands. I assured them that we would act promptly, in order to solve the problem signaled by them, which deals with the law of the National Integrity Authority (ANI), so that the disproportionate abuses and punishments on behalf of ANI against mayors stop,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The PAS candidate for the Moldovan president’s position stressed that more actions had been discussed which can be made together. ‘’Now, it is essential for us to join efforts for the European way, for Moldova. All of us want to live in a democracy and now time is ripe to save namely the democracy,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The runoff of the presidential elections will be held in Moldova on 3 November. The current Moldovan president, Maia Sandu, who grabbed 42.49 per cent of the votes or 656,852 suffrages in the first round of the polls and the Socialists’ candidate, Alexandr Stoianoglo, who picked up 25.95 per cent of the votes or 401,215 ballots, will fight in the runoff election.
