Moldovan deputy PM meets Czech minister for European affairs

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov today at the government discussed with Czech Minister of European Affairs Martin Dvořák the progress made by Moldova during this year, the integration agenda, as well as the next steps in the process of negotiations.
„The Czech Republic is a country from which we can learn important lessons about the process of preparation for accession to the European Union,’’ Cristina Gherasimov said.
Also, the deputy PM thanked the Prague authorities for the firm political support provided to the country’s European integration path.
„We are grateful also for the support provided in the last years for coping with the everyday challenges and for improving the citizens’ living, especially for those 50 development projects of the Czech Republic implemented in our country, worth about 14 million euros,’’ Cristina Gherasimov noted.
The diplomatic relations between Moldova and the Czech Republic were established on 1 June 1992. The bilateral legal framework comprises 34 bilateral treaties and agreements, which regulate diverse activity sectors: political, commercial and economic, legal, financial, culture and science, social security, health and medical sciences, defence, etc.
