Candidate of Action and Solidarity Party for Moldovan president's office thanks voters for support

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president’s office, Maia Sandu, has thanked the citizens for the messages of support received on behalf of them. Maia Sandu urges them to go to vote, in order to protect the right to elect.      

In a video posting distributed on social networks, Maia Sandu thanks the citizens of the country and from the Diaspora for mobilization. ‘’Dear friends, I thank you for all messages of support. I have seen hundreds of videos, urges to go to vote, I saw mobilization in the online communities. I thank all those who made donations; I thank from the bottom of my heart those who went from door to door, from settlement to settlement. All of us get involved for love for country. I thank the civil servants from the public institutions, who work from night to night, in order to prevent and sanction the fraud. I thank the journalists who help disclose the frauds, I thank my colleagues, I thank my family for support,’’ Maia Sandu said.     

The current Moldovan president urges the citizens to actively participate in the next Sunday elections, stressing that, in this way, they would defend the peace and the right to elect. ‘’We should stay, in continuation, mobilized, so that the honest votes really determine the result of these elections and not the purchased ones. Through the next Sunday vote, we protect the peace. Through the next Sunday vote, we preserve Moldova united and nice. Our power is big, our power is in unity; our power is in kindness. On 3 November, all of us go to vote!’’ Maia Sandu also said.    

The runoff of the presidential elections will take place in Moldova on 3 November. The current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, backed by PAS and the Socialists’ candidate, Alexandr Stoianoglo, will fight for the office of head of state.
