Moldovan parliament notifies about new messages on voting for candidate in exchange for sums of money

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament of Moldova today informed that citizens receive on their emails messages on behalf of the legislative body, thereby being urged to vote for a certain electoral contender on 3 November, subsequently being remunerated by a political party. At the same time, the people are urged to participate in a ‘’patriotic rally.’’   

„Moldova’s parliament did not submit such messages and condemns the attack of fake news sent on behalf of the institution. We urge the people to ignore these fake messages, meant to create pressure and disorientation,’’ the institution said.  

Parliament’s representatives notified the state’s institutions about the concerned attack and competent people are to establish the origin of the emails from which the messages come.
