Over 150,000 Moldovan citizens living abroad exercise right to vote

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - Over 150,000 Moldova’s citizens living abroad exercised their right to vote at the runoff of the presidential elections by 14:00.   

According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), the most demanded polling stations are recorded in Romania, Italy, Austria, Estonia, Belgium, France, Germany, etc.   

The Foreign Affairs Ministry welcomed ‘’the unprecedented mobilization’’ of the Diaspora Moldovans and appreciated ‘’the impressive efforts’’ of those who cover large distances to vote.   

Moldova’s citizens today elect the country’s president for the next four years. The Moldovans from abroad can exercise their right to vote at those 231 polling stations from abroad.
