President of Georgia congratulates Maia Sandu on reelection as Moldova's president Maia Sandu

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili has conveyed a congratulatory message to Maia Sandu, who was reelected to the office of Moldova’s president.  

"Moldovan elections are the best "evidence" of Georgia's stolen elections: despite similar interference and massive fraud on the part of Russia, Moldova was saved by 300,000 diaspora voters. 1,000,000 representatives of our powerful diaspora were restricted. Only 34,000 were allowed to vote," Salome Zurabishvili wrote on the X platform.

The president of Georgia said: Maia Sandu, your victory is our victory.  

The runoff presidential elections were held in Moldova on 3 November. Following the processing of 100 per cent of the official reports, the data shows that about 930,000 of the electors or 55.33 per cent voted for Maia Sandu. At the same time, Alexandr Stoianoglo gained about 750,000 votes, which accounts for 44.67 per cent.
